Shipping arrangements, charges, delivery timelines, customer responsibilities and support for printed Will documents.
Easy Will India (www.easywillindia.com) provides online Will preparation and doorstep delivery of printed Will documents across India, on a chargeable basis. We aim to ensure convenient, reliable and confidential delivery of customers' important documents.
This Policy explains our shipping arrangements, charges, delivery timelines, customer responsibilities, cancellation conditions and legal limitations. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Easy Will India offers digital Will preparation and physical delivery of printed Will documents. Printing, packaging and shipping are separately chargeable unless included in the purchased package. Professional consultation, Will execution assistance and registration-related services are available only when separately offered, agreed upon and paid for. Receiving a printed Will does not automatically make it legally executed or registered.
We provide doorstep delivery throughout India using available postal, courier and logistics services, subject to destination serviceability. Users must provide their complete name, delivery address, PIN code and active contact number. For locations where standard courier services are unavailable, alternative delivery arrangements may be considered. If delivery cannot be arranged, the User will be informed and offered an appropriate alternative or applicable refund for the undelivered shipping service. International shipping requires separate confirmation.
Shipping charges depend on the destination, courier rates and selected delivery arrangements. All applicable printing, packaging and delivery charges will be disclosed before order confirmation. No additional charges will be imposed without prior communication and acceptance. Payment must be confirmed before the relevant printing and dispatch services commence. Special delivery arrangements may attract separately disclosed charges.
Printing and dispatch begin after the Will has been completed, finalised and approved for physical delivery. Users must verify their personal details, beneficiaries, property descriptions and other instructions before finalisation. Any professional review included in the purchased package must be completed before dispatch. Changes requested after printing begins may attract additional charges, which will be communicated before acceptance.
Dispatch and delivery timelines depend on the destination, PIN code, document-processing requirements and courier availability. Estimated delivery periods will be communicated when the physical delivery order is confirmed or relevant dispatch details become available. Public holidays, adverse weather, transportation disruptions, incorrect addresses and operational circumstances may cause delays. Easy Will India will take reasonable steps to meet communicated timelines and assist customers experiencing delivery delays. Applicable consumer rights remain unaffected.
Easy Will India may use India Post, private courier companies, express delivery providers or other suitable logistics services. Courier selection depends on destination accessibility, operational suitability and service availability. Available shipment confirmation and tracking details will be shared through the User's registered contact information or an authorised communication channel. Users may contact our support team for shipment-related assistance.
We recognise that Will documents contain confidential personal, family, financial and testamentary information. Printed documents will be packaged to minimise ordinary handling damage and unnecessary disclosure. Only information reasonably necessary for printing, packaging and delivery will be shared with authorised service providers. Such information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements.
Documents will be delivered to the confirmed address through the selected delivery provider. The parcel may be handed to the named recipient or an authorised receiver, subject to courier procedures. Users requiring personal handover should communicate this before dispatch so that available arrangements can be assessed. Upon receipt, Users should verify the document's completeness, accuracy and physical condition.
Users are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. Incorrect addresses, unavailable recipients, incomplete contact details or restricted locations may result in delays or unsuccessful delivery. Address changes should be requested before dispatch. Additional redelivery charges arising from incorrect User-provided information may apply after disclosure and acceptance. Delivery errors attributable to Easy Will India will be corrected without additional standard delivery charges.
If a printed Will is lost, damaged, incomplete or incorrectly printed, Users should promptly contact our support team with their order and shipment details. Easy Will India will coordinate with the concerned service providers and provide necessary assistance for document correction, reprinting or replacement delivery, as applicable. Any additional charges arising from User-requested corrections, modifications or redelivery shall be communicated in advance and borne by the User, subject to applicable law.
Cancellation requests for physical delivery may be submitted before printing, packaging or dispatch begins and shall be reviewed by Easy Will India. Once printing, packaging or dispatch of a personalised Will has commenced, the applicable printing and shipping charges shall be non-refundable in cases of cancellation, change of mind or changes requested by the User, except where otherwise required by applicable law. Easy Will India may, at its discretion, provide necessary coordination and assistance for shipping or delivery-related issues, subject to applicable service terms and legal requirements.
Doorstep delivery does not constitute legal execution of a Will. Users may independently complete the applicable signing and witnessing requirements at their own responsibility and expense. Alternatively, Easy Will India may offer separately chargeable execution assistance, depending on location, professional availability and the agreed service scope. Where Section 63 of the Indian Succession Act, 1925 applies, an ordinary Will must satisfy the prescribed signing and attestation requirements, including attestation by two witnesses. Different requirements or exceptions may apply under relevant personal laws. Registration, probate and permanent document custody are not included unless separately agreed.
Users remain responsible for completing applicable signing and witnessing requirements.
After delivery, Users must complete applicable execution formalities and securely preserve their executed Wills. Easy Will India does not permanently safeguard original executed Wills unless a separate custody service is expressly agreed upon. Incomplete Will information is retained for 15 days (360 hours) from the recorded logout time. Returning and subsequently logging out again starts a fresh 15-day period. Expired incomplete drafts are automatically deleted. Refund rights relating to undelivered or deficient paid services remain unaffected.
